Swedish cult thrash metal band Mezzrow has released a new album, their second comeback album!Make sure to listen to Mezzrow's latest thrash metal, which is based on their signature Bay Area thrash but also incorporates melodic elements!

Mezzrow is a Swedish thrash metal band. Formed in 1985 as Necromancy, changed name to Mezzrow in 1987. After releasing two demos, they made their debut album in 1990 with "Then Came the Killing." However, at that time, it was also the heyday of death metal/grindcore, and the band failed to receive the recognition they deserved, so they faded out after releasing just one album. ``Then Came the Killing'' is currently receiving great support from enthusiasts as one of the best cult thrash metal albums born not only in Sweden but also in Scandinavia. After that, they reunited in 2021 with bassist Connie Wellen (ex-HEXENHAUS) and vocalist Ulf Pettersson (ex-ROSICRUCIAN). With Magnus Söderman (NIGHTRAGE) and Ronnie Bjornström (ex-AEON) on guitar, they created a new song that follows their previous sound but has a more mature and dark tone. It is also still fresh in my memory that in 2023, they released their first new work in 33 years, ``Summon Thy Demons.''

Mezzrow will be releasing a new album. The album, titled ``Embrace The Awakening,'' was produced by the band themselves, and mixed and mastered by Ronnie Bjornström. You can fully enjoy Mezzrow's latest thrash metal, which is based on their specialty Bay Area thrash but also incorporates melodic elements. A must-listen album that can be enjoyed not only by veteran fans but also as a pure thrash metal work!

This album also comes with a bonus disc, a live CD containing 8 songs from the band's first performance in Germany after the band's reunion. The result is a work that allows you to feel the enthusiastic stage of Germany's traditional metal festival ``Keep It True'', which was performed by a new drummer, and the history of the band.
