Desolate Sphere is a melodic death metal band that has been attracting the most attention in the domestic extreme metal scene, having been formed three years ago and having an average age of 25, although they are young, they have demonstrated an overwhelming sense of song and were selected as the opening act for Scar Symmetry's Japan tour.

This work, released to the world for the first time in two years since their previous EP "Hallucinosis", has undergone further evolution due to the new organization, and this work is also finished with an ultra-high quality sound that combines lyricism and brutality reminiscent of The Black Dahlia Murder.

[Desolate Sphere]

Started in 2020 as a solo project by Takanori Murakami (Gt). After releasing their 1st EP in March 2021, Kent Sasaki (Vo), who has a singing ability unlike any other Japanese, joined the group, and their 2nd EP "Hallucinosis" released in December of the same year received high praise both domestically and internationally for its melodic and brutal death metal based on The Black Dahlia Murder. After that, they started performing live in 2022, and with the new lineup of Hiroki Sato (Ba) and Shotaro Omura (Dr), they advanced to the final round of Metal Battle Japan 2023, where they competed for Wacken Open Air even though it was only their 4th live performance, and were even selected as the opening act for Scar Symmetry's Japan tour, making them one of the most anticipated members of the domestic extreme metal scene in the future. I can't take my eyes off the rapid progress made after the release of this work for the first time in two years!
