The Halo Effect is a new band brought together by members who were involved with In Flames.

To coincide with their solo performance in Japan in November, a special EP to commemorate their visit to Japan has been released, featuring covers of songs influenced by each member!

・A new band made up of members who were involved with In Flames, the heavyweights of the Swedish HM scene.

・A special mini-album featuring covers of songs that each member has been influenced by.

・A commemorative edition commemorating the visit to Japan in November.

In Flames is the pinnacle of the melodic death metal scene from Gotepoli, Sweden, which created a buzz by introducing lyrical melody lines to aggressive death metal. Five people related to In Flames gathered together.

The participating members are Jesper Strömblad (guitar), the founder of In Flames, who was with them from their debut album ``Lunar Strain'' to their 9th album ``Sense of Purpose'', and Peter Iwers, who has been with In Flames since their first performance in Japan in 1998 and was with them from their 4th album ``Colony'' to their 12th album ``Battles''. Daniel Svensson (drums), joined the band in 1998 and was with them from their 4th album "Colony" to their 11th album "Siren Charms" Daniel Svensson (drums) accompanied them on their first performance in Japan in 1998, joined in 2011 after leaving Yesper, and participated in their 13th album "I, The Mask".

The five members include Niclas Engelin (guitar) and Mikael Stanne (vocals) of current Dark Tranquility, who participated in their debut album "Lunar Strain".

They made their debut with the album "Days of the Lost" in August 2022, and immediately after that, they participated in Download Japan 22 and performed in Japan.

Their 2nd album "March of the Unhard" will be released in January 2025, and they will hold solo performances in Osaka on November 25th and Tokyo on November 26th of the same year.

In conjunction with this, a special EP featuring covers of songs influenced by each member will be released as a commemorative edition!
