The long-awaited reissue of Holy Nights' 1st album, which had a big impact on the Italian melodic music scene in the early 2000s, includes 6 bonus tracks!

Holy Nights was formed in Palermo, Italy in 1999 by Claudio Flores (dr.) and Dario Di Matteo (vocals), and in 2000 they released a four-song demo, ``Gate Through The Past,'' and appeared in the Italian melodic speed metal/symphonic power metal scene that was exploding in popularity with RHAPSODY at the time. At the same time, they signed a contract with Underground Symphonyt and released their debut album ``A Gate Through The Past'' in 2002. Together with THY MAJESTIE, HIGHLORD, DERDIAN, and others who debuted at the same time, they created the popularity of a new melodic power metal scene called Melospi.

In Japan, their work was particularly called Xa METAL, and it became a hot topic following SKYLARK, which was preceded by maniac fans such as the Thunder Group, mainly on 2ch at the time. After that, the band's activities slowed down due to member changes, but in 2012 they released their second album ``Between Daylight And Pain'', which underwent a major evolution with the addition of new guitarist Simone Campione.The Japanese cover of ``Resolution'', the opening theme for ROMANTIC MODE ``Mobile New Century Gundam

Now, 12 years later, the band is working on their long-awaited new album with Mario, Claudio, and Simone remaining the same members from the previous album. To commemorate their re-activation, the debut album ``A Gate Through The Past'' will be released in Japan as the first new version, which includes the remastered demos of the 4 original songs as well as additional cover songs of HEAVY LOAD and SWORD! Joyful melodic symphonic speed metal is back here!
