French melodic metal leader Black Rain releases a new album following their planned album ``Hot Rock Time Machine''!

Formed in Annecy in southeastern France in 2001 with Swan Helion (vocals), they debuted with the album ``BLACKRAIN'' in 2006. Since then, Black Rain, a French metal band that has constantly released albums and built a large fan base mainly in Europe, has finally released their 8th new album, following their previous planned album, ``Hot Rock Time Machine''!

After debuting as a power metal band, they have now switched from the glam metal line to a more melodic, powerful, serious and dramatic line! !

This work is wrapped in an impressive album cover that is a witty reinterpretation of "The Raft of the Medusa" painted by Théodore Géricault, a French painter who was active from 1818 to 1819 (the Japanese version was released with a separate jacket), and a music video was also created with a pirate visual for the title track. It perfectly matches the worldview in which the band is about to embark on a great voyage!

Regarding the album title, Swan, who is also the band's spokesperson, says, ``Orphans of the Light'' is a metaphor for modern band life. We decided to take the reins in a situation where many people today would give up! It's death or victory.'' Judging from the abundance of songs on this album, the band will surely achieve a great victory! This is a highly anticipated new work that aims to conquer the world! Contains 15 songs in total, including Japanese bonus tracks! !
