A fusion of grunge founders The Melvins and grindcore pioneers Napalm Death. A true collaboration album ``Savage Imperial Death March'', recorded with the participation of members of both bands, has been released.

MELVINS, led by BUZZ OSBORNE and DALE CROVER, has been dismantling the structure of heavy music for over 40 years since forming in Montesano, Washington. As a pioneer of sludge metal that nullified the boundaries between punk and metal, they are a unique existence that has had a great influence on the alternative scene that followed.

A full collaboration work with NAPALM DEATH, which was released as an extremely limited CD/LP from AMREP in conjunction with their joint headline tour in 2025. Rather than just a split album, it was recorded in a Los Angeles studio, with a hybrid arrangement in which members of both bands emit sparks on all songs. It is a masterpiece that combines the raw roars of BARNEY GREENWAY of NAPALM DEATH, who reign as the founders of grindcore, with MELVINS' unique heavyweight groove.

There are 8 songs in total, including "TOSSING COINS INTO THE FOUNTAIN OF FUCK," which attacks sludge and grind harmoniously, "SOME KIND OF ANTICHRIST," whose ominous riff erodes your eardrums, and "DEATH HOUR," which features a tense ensemble. The individuality of each band resonates with each other, opening up new horizons of destruction.

This is an expanded version of the original edition that includes two additional songs, and has been released into general distribution with the new artwork created by MACKIE OSBORNE.

A monumental work that renews the forefront of heavy music, vividly engraved with the historical encounter between these two heroes. With this work, it can be said that the definition of heavy bass in the 2020s has been rewritten.
