Contains two club performances in the United States in 1980, when MSG's activities started! This is a valuable recording from an era when the band only started working within half a year!

From the Michael Schenker Group's first tour in 1980, we will be coupling Pennsylvania and L.A. performances! He left UFO in 1978, returned to Germany, and rejoined his old club, the Scorpions. However, after a short time he moved back to England and formed his own band. First, they met singer Gary Burden, formed a lineup of bassist Billy Sheehan, and drummer Denny Carmassi, and recorded a demo, but stopped their activities due to Michael's drug addiction treatment. In May 1980, they invited Gary Burden to produce an album. That song was ``God (The Return of the Flying Arrow),'' and it was released in August of the same year. Don Airey on keyboards, Mo Foster on bass, and Simon Phillips on drums participated, but they were only supporting members, and the tour was conducted with former UFO member Paul Raymond on keyboards, Chris Glenn on bass, and Cozy Powell on drums. After the release of the album, they started a tour in the UK and performed about 8 shows by the beginning of October, and from the end of October to December they toured around 20 shows in North America. At that time, of course, he wasn't well-known, so he didn't have a lot of time, so it can be imagined that he was just a newcomer. That said, all of the members other than Baden are professionals with considerable careers, so the performance here was truly splendid, and it's hard to believe that the band has only been active for less than half a year. According to simple calculations, the Pennsylvania show will be the 15th show, and the L.A. show will be the last show in 1980. In addition to the songs from the first album, the repertoire also includes representative songs from the UFO era. This is a performance from the era when Michael Schenker truly became a "god."
