Löanshark is a traditional heavy metal trio from Barcelona, Spain. They have emerged as one of the most aggressive groups in the NWOTHM scene, bringing the pure love and impulse of the 80's into the present day. Formed in 2017, led by guitarist and singer Lögan Heads, who moved from Sardinia to Spain, the group, together with bassist Aless Oppossed and drummer Angel Smolski, has pursued the straight, unrelenting heavy metal of the early 80's. They released the EP ``The Warning Sessions'' in 2018, followed by several singles, and steadily gained recognition from metal fans. Now, the Japanese version of their long-awaited debut album "No Sins To Confess", released in 2015, has been released.

Their sound is truly metal, incorporating classics such as Judas Priest and Saxon, as well as underground heat. The band has a strong bond that goes beyond mere musical unity, and that spirit is etched throughout their songs. The aesthetics aren't just limited to the sound. Artwork and visuals that incorporate the cinematic mood of the 80s are also an important element of Löanshark's identity. Their image of a dangerous and mysterious "mafia-like worldview" is perfectly linked to their music, giving them a unique presence. The album also includes a cover of Marseille's "Open Fire." While showing respect for classic NWOBHM, you can't miss the sense of how he can seamlessly integrate it with his own songs, and his mania. This work, packed with all the charm of traditional heavy metal, is a must-listen for all metal fans!
