The Who is one of the greatest rock bands in British rock history. Since their emergence in the mid-'60s, they have revolutionized the rock scene with their aggressive sound, devastating live performances, and Pete Townshend's sharp songwriting. Representative works such as “Tommy,” “Who’s Next,” and “Quadrophenia” are known as masterpieces that are indispensable in the history of rock, and Roger Daltrey’s powerful vocals and Townshend’s original guitar work have influenced many artists and fans across generations for more than half a century. Even after a long career, they continue to embody the spirit and energy of rock, and their live shows are always talked about as special experiences.

The Who's new chapter is their live album ``Live at Eden Project.'' This work is a recording of a special performance held at the Eden Project in Cornwall, southwest England, in July 2023. At the unique venue, a huge biome facility surrounded by nature, the band, accompanied by the Heart of England Philharmonic Orchestra, performed a scale-filled stage that combined the power of classic rock with magnificent orchestral sound. The warm and clear acoustic space created by the natural topography and structure creates an intimate atmosphere different from that of a stadium, greatly reducing the distance between the audience and the band.

In addition to representative songs such as “Baba O’Riley” and “Pinball Wizard,” it also includes famous songs such as “Who Are You,” “Won’t Get Fooled Again,” and “Behind Blue Eyes,” as well as rare songs such as “Cry If You Want,” “Anyway, Anyhow, Anywhere,” and “The Rock.” Although the content covers his career, the composition shows a new expression by co-starring with an orchestra. This work captures the current state of The Who, which boasts a long career, and perfectly captures the mature appearance of the legendary band and the realism of their live performances.
