Super powerful singer “Metal Beauty” Marta Gabriel has finally started her own band “Leather Witch” after Crystal Viper disbanded! !

Although they were unable to come to Japan, it has been half a year since Crystal Viper, a Polish orthodox metal band that is familiar to Japanese metal fans and has released many masterpieces domestically on Rubicon Music, announced their shocking disbandment. Marta Gabriel (Vo), who performed solo in Japan instead of the band, has returned to the forefront of the scene!

"Leather Witch" is a new project that incorporates the steely soul of Marta, who was the band's absolute frontwoman, and sublimated her old stage name into the band name! !

In May 2025, after Crystal Viper decided to come to Japan, Marta Gabriel, who had to perform for the first time in Japan as a solo tour due to a sudden breakdown due to the breakdown of the lead guitarist, continued to do solo tours and guest and support activities, finally returned with her own band!

In the fall, we decided to disband Crystal Viper, which has been active for 20 years, released 9 albums, and created many fans as a pure metal band from Poland. Based on a new initial impulse, we started a band (project) in which we played all the parts (vocals, guitar, bass, drums) ourselves!

This album features only guitar solos, played by Crystal Viper's last guitarist, Joseppe Taormina, and SABBAT and METALUCIFER's guitarist, Tomohiro Hagi, also known as Ginoir!

Regarding this restart, Marta said, ``The disbanding of CRYSTAL VIPER does not mean the end of my musical journey, quite the contrary, it is literally a new beginning.'' She calls herself a ``leather-clad witch'' and casts her first spell on her fans (First Spell).Malta is full of passionate metal songs in the style of Crystal Viper!

The mix was handled by Olof Wikstrand, the brain behind ENFORCER, the highest peak of modern traditional metal.

Bonus tracks include covers of HELLOWEEN's "Walls Of Jericho / Ride The Sky" and MANOWAR's "Black Wind, Fire And Steel"!
