J.B.O. is the king of interesting metal that Germany is proud of. Its formation dates back to 1989. It originally started as a joke project called James Blast Orchester. They attracted attention for their style of arranging famous songs in a metal style while boldly rewriting the lyrics. In 1994, the song "Ein guter Tag zum Sterben" became a hot topic on local radio, and the situation changed completely. The EP ``Eine gute CD zum Kaufen'', which was hastily produced in response to a flood of inquiries despite it being a demo recording, became a local hit. The following year, in 1995, they made a full-fledged entrance into the scene with their debut album ``Explizite Lyrik''. Although this work was an indie album, it achieved exceptional sales and was successful enough to even rank on the German album charts. After that, his popularity expanded with works such as ``Laut!'' in 1997 and ``Meister der Musik'' in 1998. They have proven their musical ability to be more than just a parody band. They were particularly well-received as a live band, and in 1997 they held close to 100 performances a year, attracting a total audience of over 100,000 people, establishing a firm position in Germany.
Now, they are releasing a new album. The title of this work, which is the 15th work in total, is "Haus Of The Rising Fun". This is J.B.O.'s response to the chaos of modern society, packed with songs full of humor, satire, and energy. The content not only makes listeners laugh, but also has elements that make them think, showing off their unique sense of balance. The album was produced by Christoph Beyerlein and the band themselves, and the sound clearly reflects J.B.O.'s individuality, which has been cultivated over many years. J.B.O. continues to illuminate the world with the power of laughter and music, even in the midst of today's harsh reality. Although it is called interesting metal, the performance is top notch. ``Haus Of The Rising Fun'' is a work that simultaneously shows their unwavering stance and evolution, and it can be said to prove once again why they still reign at the top of interesting metal.
