Matador, a veteran melodic rock band from Puerto Rico, will release a studio album ``III'' consisting of completely new songs.

Matador, who was active from 1988 to 1995, earned high acclaim for their unique sound that fuses the essence of Latin with a focus on hard rock, and for their explosive live performances. He has performed with rock legends such as Aerosmith and Iron Maiden, and has attracted attention in the European rock scene.

In 2022, the original members will reunite. The new album, in which all 12 songs were written by pouring the experience and passion cultivated over many years of career, has been completed.

From epic power ballads to riff-driven anthems to fast-paced high-octane rock, "III" presents Matador's unique melody and dynamism in a more refined form! !

This work was co-produced and engineered by Bob St. John (Extreme, Dokken, Collective Soul). Furthermore, as the first collaboration with Frontiers Music Srl, a prestigious rock label based in Italy, this album is expected to be released on a global scale.

The current lineup includes the original members Michael Villegas (vocals), Carlos Benitez (drums/vocals), Miguel "Tito" Rodriguez (guitar/violin), and new member Abraham Millet (bass/keyboards).

Based on the lyricism derived from classic rock, they have created a unique sound that fuses hard rock, progressive elements, and a modern edge.
