ANCIENT MYTH is a Tokyo-based symphonic metal band led by female vocalist and leader Michal. The band, which combines a dark and gothic worldview with intricate architectural beauty and melodious musicality, will drop their long-awaited new single.

The current lineup is solid, with kaya (G) joining in 2024 and Raimu (B) joining in 2026. The title song of this work, ``Bloody Crescent'', which is the first nationally distributed work in about 5 years, is a dark galloping song that is guided by the sound of an organ that echoes in the pitch-black night, and depicts the abyss of vampires in a beautiful, mysterious, and dramatic manner.

Of particular note is the overwhelming vocal work of leader Michal. Her singing voice, which can range from soaring high tones to deep and expressive singing, shines supremely amidst the increasingly intense band sound.

Furthermore, the coupling includes a re-recorded version of the single "Amarantos Blooms", which was released in 2024 and sold out in an instant. In this work, which is the first official sound source with new bassist Raimu, how was this song, which is popular at live performances, reborn with a stronger rhythm section? The result is a mix of old and new charms, and is full of interesting things to listen to.

Starting in May 2026, they will be conducting an unprecedented one-man tour with free admission and a coin donation system, and they continue to shock the scene. Through active live activities and communication on SNS, their unique aesthetic has gained enthusiastic support from fans not only in Japan but also overseas.
