A progressive hard rock duo from Canada finally makes their debut in Japan!

Crown Lands is a Canadian progressive hard rock duo consisting of Cody Bowles and Kevin Comeau. Their piercing high-tone vocals and the deep, highly technical prog rock sound produced by just the two of them have become a hot topic, and their first album ``Crown Lands'' was nominated for the 2021 ``Best Rock Album Award'' at the Juno Awards, which is called Canada's version of the Grammy Awards, and won the ``Best New Group Award.'' Later that year, Dream Theater's vocalist James LaBrie named them ``Best New Band'' and praised them, saying, ``This band is just a two-man band. Kevin Comeau plays guitar, bass, and keyboards, and Cody Bowles plays drums and sings -- and their voices are just amazing. It's amazing. Check out their song ``White Buffalo.'''' (Revolver magazine).

This is their third album with vocals, and was created in collaboration with two producers, Nick Raskulinetz and David Bottrill, who also worked with Rush, the legendary rock trio from the same country they respect, and was built as a narrative experience based on the analog LP format. The highlight is the 19-minute title track (the only analog B-side song) that concludes the album, a 13-movement suite called ``Apocalypse.'' This song, which symbolizes the album as a whole both musically and narratively, explodes with a magnificent and thrilling play that interweaves stillness and movement. The evolution of these artists, who have completely mastered their own vision and reached a new horizon, is condensed here.
