Schattenmann is an alternative metal band formed in 2016 by German musician Frank Herzig. After releasing their debut album ``Licht an'' in 2018, they attracted attention for their sound that combined industrial textures, melodic elements, and German lyrics. After that, the band continued to release works such as "Epidemie" (2019) and "Chaos" (2021), steadily expanding their support. While expanding the range of their sound with each work, they established a dark and dramatic worldview. Their fourth album, ``Día de Muertos,'' released in 2013, marked a major turning point for the band. With this album, they entered the top 10 of Germany's album charts for the first time, and also went on a successful tour, the largest of their career. Their popularity and reputation increased dramatically, with sold-out performances throughout Germany and Austria.

Schattenmann's new album released this year will now be released here in Japan. This work, titled "Endgegner", is a work that has evolved into a heavier and more aggressive sound that incorporates more core elements in addition to the previous style. With Henning Verlage as producer, the sound has also been further strengthened. The lead single "Kein Kommando" is a song that symbolizes this new direction, and with its overwhelming energy and modern approach, it strongly marks the beginning of a new chapter for the band. This album also marks a major change not only musically but also visually, allowing Schattenmann to establish a clearer identity as a metal band than ever before. Their greatest appeal is their attitude of always moving forward and not being afraid of change.

``Endgegner'' is a bold step forward, building on the career he has built up to this point. Through this work, Schattenmann is pushing his limits and entering a new stage.
