German power metal veterans StormHammer have released their first new album in 7 years! A must-listen work that firmly inherits the tradition of classic heavy metal/power metal, but with an increased amount of thrash!

A veteran of the German power metal scene, StormHammer dates back to 1993. Initially known as Lizard and then Steamhammer, they later changed their name to StormHammer. While accumulating live experience, they rose to prominence with a style that combined traditional German heavy metal and melodic power metal. In 2000, he released his debut album ``Fireball'' from Century Media. Since then, he has consistently released works such as ``Cold Desert Moon'' (2001), ``Lord Of Darkness'' (2004), ``Signs Of Revolution'' (2009), ``Echoes Of A Lost Paradise'' (2015), ``Welcome To The End'' (2017), and ``Seven Seals'' (2019). Their sound, which is based on traditional European power metal but also incorporates dark, heavy riffs and sometimes thrash metal-like aggression, has been a unique presence for many years. In 2022, he also released the best album ``Never Surrender,'' which summarizes his career, and once again presented his path.

StormHammer will release their first new studio album in seven years, ``Wrath Of The Hammer''. This is a powerful work that firmly inherits the classic heavy metal/power metal tradition that they have built up until now, while adding a sharper and more modern approach. With aggressive riffs, magnificent melodies, and powerful vocals as the core, their sound has evolved significantly through guitar work and dynamic developments that are more thrash metal than before. Two new guitarists bring Bay Area thrash, 90s punk, modern heavy metal, flowing guitar solos and a progressive power metal approach. As a result, ``Wrath Of The Hammer'' is a heavier and more modern work without losing the StormHammer feel of yesteryear.

Even after a long career, StormHammer has never stopped evolving and has further honed their heavy metal spirit. This work, which inherits the tradition of German power metal but boldly combines modern heaviness and aggression, is a must-listen for European power metal fans!
