Magic Opera's super new work is scheduled to appear at EVOKEN FEST2026, which will be held for 3 days in Tokyo this summer!

A new work by MAGIC OPERA, a major space opera project led by Marco Garau, a former Dardian composer/keyboard player who is highly acclaimed in the Italian melodic/symphonic power metal scene, has been released in preparation for their performance in Japan! !

``The Final Flight'' is the final part of the epic fantasy trilogy that follows the debut work ``The Golden Pentacle'' released in 2022 and the second work ``Battle of Ice'' in 2024, and is a masterpiece drawn on a scale befitting the culmination of the series.

The entire album is decorated with magnificent orchestration reminiscent of movie music, beautiful melodies full of Italian melancholy, and powerfully galloping power and speed metal. The elaborate arrangement and dynamic song structure combine to create an immersive feeling that feels like experiencing a fantasy movie. Of course, Marco Garau, who is at the center of the project, handles all the composition, keyboards, and orchestral arrangements, and the powerful lineup includes Anton Darusso (vocals), Luca Sellitto (lead guitar), Matteo Baschiera (rhythm guitar), Ollie Bernstein (bass), and Salvatore Giordano (drums). The outstanding performance and expressiveness of each member vividly depicts the magnificent story. In addition, Lars Rettkowitz is in charge of mixing and mastering, and his profound yet delicate sound production further enhances the world of the work.

The epic fantasy saga that began in 2022 has finally come to an end, as the title of this work "The Final Flight" suggests. The carefully constructed story and dramatic songs will be a big attraction not only for fans who have been following the series, but also for listeners who are introduced to the world of MAGIC OPERA from this work.
