The long-awaited reprint of Japanese hard rock pioneer BOWWOW's revival work "STILL ON FIRE" which heralded their "restart"!!

In 2024, with the restart of VOW WOW, attention is once again focused on its history, and "STILL ON FIRE" released in 1998, which has been difficult to obtain for a long time, is finally available as a reissue. The production of this album began when the three original members, Kyoji Yamamoto (G/Vo), Mitsuhiro Saito (G/Vo), and Toshihiro Niimi (Ds), got together in 1998 and were excited to record a demo tape. Although it was originally meant to be a sampler for various parties involved, it has become so complete that it was released as a prelude to a full-scale reunion, making it a must-have sound source for fans. The highlight is the impressive medley that lasts 9 minutes and 36 seconds. The representative songs from the 1st "Roar! BOWWOW" to the 3rd "CHARGE" are revived with a strong ensemble by the musicianship that has become more mature. Also included is the bonus track ``Chaser,'' a song provided for the PlayStation software ``R,'' which has been difficult to obtain for a long time. Kyoji Yamamoto's exhilarating guitar work shines beyond its documentary value. This work fills in the missing link between each member's journey after VOW WOW's disbandment, and their journey to raising the name of "BOWWOW" once again. It can be said to be an indispensable masterpiece in unraveling the history of Japanese rock, not only for those who missed out on buying it at the time, but also for listeners who are experiencing their achievements for the first time due to their resurgence in recent years.
