15th album by US thrash metal legends and pioneers LOTSAM AND JETSAM
Formed in 1981, led by Kelly David-Smith (Ds) and Jason Newsted (Bas). At the time, they were active under the name PARADOX, but after repeated name changes and member changes, the band name was settled on FLOTSAM AND JETSAM in 1984. Debuted in 1986 with the first song "Doomsday for the Deceiver". After that, members changed repeatedly, but in September 2004, they came to Japan with "THRASH DOMINATION 04" and performed with OVERKILL and DEATH ANGEL. In their nearly 40-year career, they've toured the world and performed at festivals like Wacken, Graspop, Bloodstock, Alcatraz, and Rock Hard. A legend and pioneer in the thrash metal world. The current members are Eric A.K. Knutson (Vo), Michael Gilbert (G), Steve Conley (G), William Bodily (B), and Ken Mary (Ds) who have been members since their debut. Eric commented on this album, ``Rats In The Temple,'' saying, ``It's the masterpiece of our career and it's a monster.'' Beautiful yet aggressive twin guitar harmony, intense double bass, hypnotic bass groove, and Eric's unique and eerie singing voice explode. Dark stories of death, abuse, betrayal, and war are painted on every wall, inviting listeners into a dark world that is far from our own.
