The origin of death metal, a super group made up of powerful members including former DEATH members.

A quarter of a century has passed since the sudden passing of Chuck Schuldiner, a core member of death metal's founder DEATH. In order to carry on the legacy of DEATH, early members Rick Rozz (formerly MASSACRE) and Terry Butler (OBITUARY), along with Matt Harvey (EXHUMED/GRUESOME) and Gus Rios (GRUESOME), who are strong in the extreme metal world, gathered together to form LEFT TO DIE. So far, they have covered DEATH's songs and performed live in countries around the world, and are planning to perform in Japan in the spring of 2025. This first album features songs from the demo recordings released by DEATH before their debut and which were the focus of attention in the tape trade scene at the time. The charm of the riffs/songs, which could not be captured through repeated dubbing and distortion, is brought back to life through modern production and outstanding performance techniques. DEATH/A planned album that fans are excited about, conveying the origins of death metal in detail.
