This 4CD set includes the Budokan 2-DAYS performances on October 26 and 27 from the 1993 Japan tour, recorded in stereo with a sound so powerful that it is almost unmistakably superb. As enthusiasts know, there have been titles that recorded both nights in the past, but this disc contains the entire show in excellent sound quality that lightly surpasses all the previously released recordings. Of course, this disc is not merely an enhancement of the sound quality on both nights; it uses the original masters, which we have independently obtained for the very first time. The clarity, dynamism, balance, and depth of the sound is comparable to the quality of the 1993 Japan Tour titles that we have recently released. The press 2CD "Twenty One and Three Live" was released on the 26th, but we have verified that it is not from this date, but from another date. The other CD was "The Sixth Day," which was released on our subsidiary label Masterport, but the master used for this disc was a different master, far superior to it. There was also a soundboard title of "Stone Free Night" released on 2CDR, but this disc surpasses "Stone Free Night," which was said to have the best sound quality. In other words, this disc is the definitive audience title for both nights, and there is no doubt that it will reign supreme. We hope that you will experience this sound first hand. As you know, this tour was a milestone for the following year's "From The Cradle" album or "Nothing But The Blues" tour, and the first half of the tour was a set of blues covers, and the second half was a set of traditional representative songs with a sprinkling of blues. The first half of the set was a set of blues covers. One of the highlights of the set was a tribute to Jimi Hendrix, Stone Free, which was recorded right around this time. Speaking of the band members, the band included Nathan East and Andy Fairweather Lowe, who still support Clapton today, but it also included the late Richie Hayward, the powerful drummer of Little Feat, a horn section, a female chorus, and a former member of the band. The band also featured a horn section and a female chorus, as well as a blues harpist, Jerry Portnoy, formerly of the Muddy Waters Band. After a grueling blues set by only the men without the women, the acoustic set with the women's chorus was followed by the second half, where the tension reached its maximum. Moreover, Clapton, the star of the show, was motivated by what he wanted to achieve, and his performance was of excellent quality, making this tour a memory that will stay with the Japanese people forever. This is a rare master recording of the first appearance of this tour for those who have selected and enjoyed our 1993 Japan tour titles, as well as for general rock fans who want to hear the best sound quality of this tour. Clapton was definitely on fire at this Budokan 2DAYS! Please check it out.
