The first day of Eric Clapton's Japan tour on April 13 was filled with elements that will make it a "legend" to be remembered for years to come. In addition to a revamped set list, the return of Electric Layla for the first time in 10 years (played only on that day out of the five shows), and the arrival of John Mayer, a young number one guitarist who was on a Japan tour at the same time, and a friend of Clapton's, all made for a memorable performance. Clapton himself greeted the audience at the beginning of the acoustic set. He said, "It's great to be back here again. I feel like I'm back home. I feel as if I am at home here. For those who were not able to see the concert, we hope you will feel the "specialness" of the concert as well as the unforgettable memory of the fans who saw it. While Clapton is still in Japan, we have released the first day of the concert as "Budokan 2019 Day 1" earlier than anywhere else. We were the first to release the "Budokan 2019 Day 1", a high quality stereo disc, and it was well received by our customers, who were the first to experience the "legend" of the show! The master titled "Recorder 1" was DAT-recorded at Budokan, 1st floor, West C row, 4th position. The taper is the same person who made a high-quality recording of Clapton and Jeff Beck's miraculous 2-Day concert at Saitama Arena in 2009, which was released on vinyl as "ERIC CLAPTON & JEFF BECK - LIVE TOGETHER (6CD)" and has been praised by both Clapton and Beck fans, Beck's fans have praised his work. He is a "killer" who can guarantee unquestionable quality in the best positions. Our engineers have further mastered and polished the sound from the high quality master. The quality is unquestionable. The master titled "Recorder 2" is also an original master that we directly obtained. The recording position was the center of Arena B block.
