The previously released 2CD ("Live at Budokan 2019 - 1st Night SAT 13 APRIL") features an audience recording with excellent sound balance that directly conveys the atmosphere of the venue, but the master used for this release surpasses even that recording. The master used for this album is an astonishing audience master that surpasses even that source, and of course is a gem of an original source that is being released for the first time in the world. While the 2CD release used a master recorded with a high-end omni-directional microphone, the MK4 master uses a top-quality unidirectional microphone (MK4 master), which has long held an unshakeable position as the pinnacle of audience recordings. The MK4 master is characterized by a rich, fat, and thick mid-range, and allows us to enjoy a professional recording that captures Clapton's one-and-only guitar sound to a magnificent degree. This is sure to bring tears to the eyes of fans of all generations! The unidirectional nature of the recording also makes it virtually impervious to the annoying ambient noises of hand clapping and chatting that are so common in audience recordings.
