This is the title of Eric Clapton's show in Japan last month. This is a superb master of the second day, April 15, which is reputed to have been the best played by Clapton and the band during the five-day show! We are very happy to be able to release all 5 shows from the selected master with excellent sound quality. The master of this disc is actually the master of "Budokan 2019: The 2nd Show" which was released while we were releasing the sound sources of this show in Japan. When we released it, we wanted to deliver the excitement of the show while the excitement was still fresh in our minds. Of the several original first generation masters available, the "Budokan 2019: The 2nd Show" master ended up being the best, so we decided to remaster it to produce the best title for the fourth day of the show. The taper of this master was recorded in Arena A4 block. The taper of this master was recorded in Arena A4, the very front block. It couldn't be bad. Now, let's take this opportunity to review the dates of Clapton's performances. We will also append the titles of our releases for each date. 13 April 2019 - "Budokan 2019 1st Night (2CD)", "Budokan 2019 Day 1 (2CD)", "Budokan 2019 Day 1 New Masters (4CD)" 15 April 2019 - "Budokan 2019 Day 2 (2CD)", " Budokan 2019: The 2nd Show (2CD)" ← [This work] 17 April 2019 - "Budokan 2019 Day 3 (2CD)", "Budokan 2019 3rd Night (2CD)" 18 April 2019 - "Budokan 2019 Day 4 (2CD)", " Budokan 2019 4th Night(2CD)" 20 April 2019 - "Budokan 2019 Day 5(2CD)", "Budokan 2019 Final Night(2CD)" In this way, all titles had high sound quality. The quality of this disc, the last one in the series, is also worthy of being the final one. The remastering was done with a slight reduction of the mid-range to make the overall sound clearer. The highs were more prominent after the acoustic set, perhaps due to the PA or recording equipment settings, or the direction of the microphones, so adjustments were made to achieve the optimum balance with the latter half of the song. Also, the sound pressure of the acoustic set, which was shifted from the electric set, was naturally increased slightly to allow for a smoother listening experience. This further polished the mastery of "BUDOKAN 2019: The 2nd Show". On the second day, the electric Layla, which was played for the first time in 10 years on the first day, was replaced by an unplugged Layla, killing fans' expectations, but at the end of the five shows, this day was ranked as the best played of all the shows, even by the core enthusiasts. After five performances, this day was ranked as the day with the highest play quality among all the performances. This was evidenced by Pretending's solo, which started off strongly, with a burst of rapid-fire playing. Wanna Make Love To You, his first set-in in 30 years, also featured a wonderful solo, full of songfulness and fluidity. This is truly at the level of the band's heyday, and this performance is unquestionably a "masterpiece. This is a performance that must be heard. In the following song "Hocchie Coochie Man," Clapton played a fast and furious solo, and in the postlude to "I Shot The Sherff," he unusually stepped out the wah pedal in the middle of the song and played a wild solo. Clapton showed no signs of "deterioration" due to old age, and his performance was just as good as he was 10 years ago when he last played with Layla. Compared to the first day, his performance was clearly more cohesive and his voice sounded better. His fingers were definitely moving better, too. The flow of the second half of the stage was back to the pattern of the last few years, and the encore was in this vein with Paul Carrack singing High Time We Went, but rather than being disappointed by this, the quality of the playing on this day had even the core fans groaning. As mentioned in our review of BUDOKAN 2019: The 2nd Show, just for fun, Clapton did a nifty thing in the introduction to the unplugged Layla intro, interspersing the Beatles' "Elinor Rigby" phrase in his nail-picking phrases! . Some rock fans in the audience quickly noticed this and cheered. The intro also incorporates the original version of the seven-string phrase. This is quite a rare pattern among the hundreds of times he has played this song in his career. This is one of the things I enjoyed about Clapton's performance on the second day. The second half of the show was a riot of energy, which was a natural result of Clapton's strong performance on this day.
