Eric Clapton's Japan Tour 2019 continues its super-fast release! This week we will be releasing the original high quality sound masters of the 4th show on Thursday the 18th of last week, completed in just one week as a packaged media. This is the only way for you to collect all the performances! This master was recorded by the same person who provided the master for "Eric Clapton - Budokan 2019 The 2nd Show". The recording position is in front of the B8 block of the arena. As mentioned in the review of "Eric Clapton - Budokan 2019 The 2nd Show", this taper has earned a reputation as a recordist with outstanding sound quality. Accordingly, the sound quality of this disc is equally outstanding, with perfect clarity and balance. In the original master, there was a part where the audience clapped a little too loudly in the vicinity, but we have mastered it as much as possible without affecting the sound. The sound quality is now very good. The setlist had settled down, and the quality of the performance on the fourth day was finally solid. The melancholy of "Wanna Make Love To You" is a real masterpiece. The performance on this day was especially powerful! The solo on I'm Your Hoochie Coochie Man was also thrilling! The highlight of the first half, the postlude to I Shot the Sheriff, was the best of the five performances in terms of the strange phrase structure and the way it builds up. The acoustic set was solid, quiet, and tightly played, and the flow of the electric set in the second half was also rock solid. In a way, it's a rare scene. Clapton's solo was a bit more mature than the rest of the set, but he really came out firing at the end of his solo. Then, he properly took care of himself in Crossroads, Little Queen of Spades, and Cocaine. Especially in Cocaine, Clapton played his handiwork to the hilt, including his signature phrases. It was a great listening experience. In general, this was a day of high quality playing, and along with the second day, the 15th, it was a day full of engaging playing with few mistones.
