The previously released 2CD ("Live at Budokan 2019 - 4th Night THU 18 APRIL") uses an audience sound source with excellent sound balance that directly conveys the atmosphere of the venue, but the master used for this release is an astonishing master that surpasses even that source. While the previously released 2CDR was recorded using a high-end omni-directional microphone, the MK4 master is a unidirectional, top-quality microphone that has long held a firm position as the pinnacle of audience recordings. The MK4 master is characterized by a rich, fat, and thick mid-range, and allows us to enjoy a professional recording that captures Clapton's one-and-only guitar sound to a magnificent degree. This is sure to bring tears to the eyes of fans of all generations! The unidirectional nature of the recording also makes it virtually impervious to the annoying ambient noises of hand clapping and chatting that are so common in audience recordings.
