This joint tour by Brian Wilson and Jeff Beck took place exactly 10 years ago in the United States alone. At the time, it looked like a cross-martial arts battle between big names from the U.S. and Britain, and while it attracted a great deal of attention, it was difficult to grasp the reality of this unique tour because no items that could be called "the real deal" were ever released. However, now that Beck has passed away, this is a rare opportunity to see them live together. In addition, the R item that was released as a rear-tie is now almost forgotten. It is hard to deny the impression that this tour has been overlooked even by enthusiasts. It is also a fact that no top-quality recordings of the tour have appeared to match the tour. However, the October 20, 2013 Greek Theater provided by an overseas collector is an astonishingly high quality audio recording. The sound image was close and the clarity was perfect. This is a masterpiece recording that can be perfectly described as "just like a soundboard. The band sounded completely different from each other in Brian's set and Beck's set, but they were captured in such a perfect condition. It was probably because there were no such excellent audience recordings available in rear-tiered format that this joint tour, which was so valuable at the time, was only released on CD-R. The sound quality of the CD-R release is flawless, capturing both the big band Brian and the solid Beck on stage. It would be a shame not to release an audience recording of such outstanding quality. The sound quality alone makes this a superb audience album that can be proudly recommended to fans and enthusiasts of all ages, but the content is also fantastic. Brian's set is an extremely condensed set that includes all the songs from the rare masterpiece "PET SOUNDS," which is a treasure of the family, as well as Beach Boys classics, and the performance by Brian's band, which boasted of being the best at the time, is flawless. Not only Al Jardine, but also David Marks, who had joined the Beach Boys the previous year as a remnant of the full-member lineup, had a guitar solo on the title track of "PET SOUNDS," an album in which he was not involved at all, and other highlights. On the other hand, Beck's "LOUD HAILER" was foreshadowed by the addition of two female members to the band, violinist Lizzy Ball and bassist Rhonda Smith, for the first time. In addition to this fresh lineup, there was a wonderful instrumental arrangement of the Jimi Hendrix cover "Little Wing," which the band frequently played at the time, and Lizzie's violin playing on "Yemin" and beyond, which could only be experienced by the Beck Band in 2013. The sound and playing are full of sounds that could only be experienced by the Beck Band in 2013, and you can feel Beck playing comfortably with the girls in the background. The two groups performed together on the joint stage, with Beck playing the melody of "Surf's Up" and the members of Brian's band adding chorus harmonies to "Brush With the Blues". The band members also added chorus harmonies on "Brush With the Blues". Of course, Beck played the guitar solo on "Barbara Ann," reminding us that now that he has passed away, the joint performance was more than just a cross-fertilization battle. The sound quality is excellent, so this is a great audience album full of the forgotten charms of this fantastic joint tour. The sound is amazing!
