The final date of the two-week 2014 Japan tour, April 16 at Osaka Festival Hall, is now available in the best sound quality disc. This is the best sound quality recording of Jeff by the best taper in western Japan. The recording was made from the fourth row, in front of Jeff's microphone stand. The hall was reopened the previous year, and it is said that the sound comes down from the sky. The clear, crisp sound captures the atmosphere of the hall, and the direct and outstanding sound from the bass to the treble without excess or deficiency. The balance of each instrument was perfect, capturing not only Jeff's guitar, which plays the leading role, but also the metal sound of the drums, bass drum, and bass guitar. Because we were seated in the front, the sound was a mix of the live sound of each instrument and the sound coming out of the PA. The audience around me was excited between songs, but during the songs, I was listening to the performance, so I could enjoy the performance without being disturbed by annoying audience noise. Unfortunately, there were no surprises or special songs or developments that could only be found on the last day, but Beck seemed to be somewhat relaxed and in a good mood on this final day. However, Beck seemed to be relaxed and in a good mood on the last day of the tour, and his playing was so sharp that the strings broke on Big Block. (I mentioned that there were no surprises, but Beck's MC after "Cause We've Ended As Lovers" was a surprise, as he expressed his gratitude for this Japan tour.) ) It was a pity that the standard songs such as "Blue Wind" and "The Pump" were not performed from the end of the tour, but "Egyptian," which is scheduled to be included in the album, was included in the set, and as a result, many songs from the upcoming new album were performed. The best part of the concert was that we could taste the contents and direction of the album before its release. Drummer Jonathan Shosev has played with Pat Metheny, Mike Stern, Bill Evans, David Sanborn, and many other jazz fusion greats in the past, and his technical playing with many hands and many feet attracted the audience as well as Beck's playing. His technical playing with many hands and many feet attracts the audience as well as Beck's playing. The tour in Japan was difficult to predict because of the blank time since the joint performance with Brian Wilson and the decision of Lizzie Ball, violinist and vocalist, not to join the tour just before her arrival in Japan. The tour was an ideal first tour, as the quality of the performances was excellent at each stop and continued to improve as the tour went on.
