The legendary soundboard album that has been called "the true VIVA! The legendary soundboard album, which has been described as "true VIVA!" and "the complete version of the great masterpiece," is now available on 2CD. The recording on this album is a stereo soundboard recording of the Newcastle concert on October 28, 1974. In 1974, the band switched between the "STRANDED Tour" and the "COUNTRY LIFE Tour," and John Wetton also joined the tour at certain times. John Wetton also joined the tour at certain times. Let's take a look back at the schedule of those days to see how this album fits into the situation. 1974: February 20: Boston concert, April 4 + 5: Southport (2 concerts), May 25 - June 3: North America #1 (7 concerts) 《July-August: "COUNTRY LIFE" production》 《September: John Wetton joins the tour》 《September: "COUNTRY LIFE" production》 《September: "COUNTRY LIFE" production》 《September: "COUNTRY LIFE" production September 21-October 28: U.K. #1 (27 shows)←★here★★, November 5-27: Europe (10 shows), November 29: Atlanta*, December 17-19: U.K. #2 (3 solo shows by Ferry)1975, February 8-March 7: North America #2 (19 shows) March: Wetton moves to URIAH HEEP》・April 15-30: Oceania (8 shows) 《September: "Siren" completed》・October 2-23: UK #3 (17 shows) ・November 14-December 1: North America #3 (12 shows)This was ROXY MUSIC in 1974/1975. Wetton joined the tour after the completion of "COUNTRY LIFE". The Newcastle show in this album was the last date of "UK #1", the early part of the tour. This show is also known as the show that was used for "VIVA!", but the official traditional version was an edited version made from multiple performances. This is a good opportunity to check the breakdown. The breakdown of the official "VIVA!" - November 1973: Glasgow (2 songs), October 1974: Newcastle (5 songs) ← *here*, October 1975: Wembley (1 song) ...... and so on. Newcastle 1974" has the largest number of songs with 5, while "STRANDED Tour" to "SIREN Tour" are widely used. Not only the number of songs, but also the lengthy takes such as "The Bogus Man," "If There Is Something," and "In Every Dream Home A Heartache" were all performed in Newcastle, making it the main venue in both name and reality. And the complete soundboard of such a historic show is this album. This is the FM soundboard known from guns, etc., but this is the CD version of the best master. In fact, the sound is so good that it is hard to tell which take is which when you play back the mix. Moreover, this is the highest peak of the album, polished by meticulous mastering. Of course, we did not use any meaningless sound pressure gains. Some of the masters known today are so poorly mastered that the MC's are doubled up and sound skips occur at some track points. In this work, such roughness has been treated properly, and furthermore, fine noise processing and pitch/phase correction have been carried out. The truth of the original sound has not been distorted, and the perfection of the musical work has been pursued. The full show, also known as "the complete VIVA! Let's check out the five songs included in "VIVA! For Your Pleasure (5 songs) - Beauty Queen / In Every Dream Home A Heartache (★) / The Bogus Man (★) / Editions Of You / Do The Strand (★) Country Life (5 songs) - Prairie Rose / Out Of The Blue (★)/Three And Nine/If It Takes All Night/All I Want Is You Other (6 songs)-Stranded: Mother Of Pearl/A Song For Europe/Street Life, Other: If There Is Something (★)/Re-Make/Re-Model/Virginia Plain *Note: Songs marked with "★" are duplicates of the official "VIVA! The complete recording of over 88 minutes in length cannot be compared to "VIVA!", which was a 46-minute single album. This is truly a "complete" and "true" full live album. Furthermore, even the five songs included in "VIVA!" are not the same. Eddie Jobson's violin is particularly easy to recognize, with the solo on "Out Of The Blue" being replaced, and the violin part on "If There Is Something" can also be seen cut. To begin with, "VIVA!" itself is also a processed work that went through overdubs and editing, and in fact, the Newcastle concert was also a two-day performance on "October 27/28". It seems that no conclusion has been reached yet, but even the official "VIVA!" suggests that some of the takes may have been the first day (this work was the second day). Whatever the case, there is no doubt that this film is a "more realistic and complete VIVA! This is the highest quality version of the complete soundboard album, which is worth more than the official masterpiece and the robbery. This is a superb stereo soundboard recording of the Newcastle concert on October 28, 1974. This is the complete version of the show known as the main venue for the traditional "VIVA!" album, and the best master was polished by our own mastering.
